is there any way to run cnr of lindows or linspire packages ( so c-n-r files) under xandros 2.0, i ve got the lindows plus cd rom but it dosn't much
only deb and rpm files are supported . |

To the best of my knowledge, no. CNR is a Linspire proprietary system, designed to run only with Linspire.

This is how I understand it as well. CNR packages only run with CNR, which (again as far as I know) only runs on Linspire.

...or Debian if you tweak around alittle bit with it. So I suppose it wouldn't be impossible to get it running in Xandros either, though I really so no point of it. CNR is made for Linspire and will always be. Xandros' got XN, Lycoris Iris, Mandrake Urpmi etc etc. Let the products compete and the best one will hopefully "win" in the end... |
