Hi,

I have the exact same problem with installing windows. I can't install windows XP from CDrom because at boot time it simple can't find any cdroms. ( i have 2 scsi cdrom - Philips CDD3600 and Pioneer DR-U32X ). I always had to boot via dos , copy the entire windowsXP cd on disk and install from disk. The lead to an XP WITHOUT cdroms available. I then had to manually adjust the SCSI/RAID Host Controller resources. Adding IO range and IRQ ( values found from the dos boot with cdrom support ). OK that the situation with windows.

But now that i try to install xandros, i use a bootdisk but again CDrom is not found. So i suspect the same issue. SCIS/RAID simply has not the right parameters. Can i tweak these on the bootdisk by adding parameters to LILO?
