Has anyone put together a list of easy to find links for un-official Xandros help sites? There are several forum members and Xandros employees who have sites that are known to be good sources of information specific to Xandros. Here are a few, I know there are more. I tried to put the forum member name so folks could search for topics they have been involved in here.
Again, these sites are un-official (though seemingly well regarded) so use the information and packages at YOUR OWN RISK. If you have problems or questions regarding any of the following information, packages or hardware compatibility listed below, please contact those individuals for assistance. These are not official Xandros maintained tips & tricks, packages or hardware compatibility list. In other words, Xandros has nothing to do with any of them.

ben- Ben's packages can be accessed by adding the following to apt's sources in XN:
deb http://neo.caslab.queensu.ca/packages/xandros binary/
*note: If you try to access this as a webpage you may get a "forbidden" error message. But adding it to your apt source will work fine. These packages were compiled by ben for Xandros 2.0.

ea- Eric has compiled a few packes for Xandros 2.0 and can be found here:

Hi Matt,
Good to see you did this....they are useful sites. Any chance of linking it directly off the forums page too? A sticky in tips and tricks, forum faq or at the top somewhere?

I'm honored, Matt.
BTW, ArchLUG welcomes "WikiGnomes" to help in re-factoring pages that get a little bulky or too complex.
Thanks, guys. _________________ Thanks for all the fishes, Xandros. |

There is some problem getting the old version of karamba, so I want to let you know we need it on the nonsupported list of debs. I have a copy of it if Matt, you can tell me how to get it to you. I will send it to those who want it emailed.
