the 4th coming.I know its a old game but i love playing it. is there a way to get it to work with xandros v1? if so, then ill be converting 100% to xandros and never going back to windows  if anyone here has played it or does play it.. please help. |

I got curious as to what game this was you were talking about. I did a Google as Mike suggested and found a download setup file for the game. Both Crossover and WineX could run the setup file successfully. Crossover had an error about an old version of directx 3 but installed anyway. WineX didn't complain at all. I attempted to run the game and got the same thing with both. I get to a logon screen that lists the server with a username of "Guest" and no password. When I attempt to logon with no password the little button that says "connect" flashes back and forth between "connect" and "enter" and doesn't seem to go any further. I'm not totally sure that it just not connecting, not letting me in without a password or simply crashing? Got any clues you want to pass along since you are more familiar with this game?
BTW you might want to look at this similar style cross platform game available for Linux that is free and is multiplayer. (I think its multiplayer anyway)
