I am busy waiting for my copy of the distro and since I am a sysadmin for both solaris and NT I just wanted to make sure it has the following utilities?
Rdesktop ?
SSH client ( should be a no brainer )?
GCC compiler?
I am sure I can download and compile both but it is always nice to get as part of the package,

ssh >> yes
gcc >> yes with selection of complete install. i am sure you can pick it out individually too. |

The ssh client is included by default. The server is also included, but it is disabled by default.
The gcc compiler comes on the CD and is installed with the complete desktop - it may also be installed on the std dekstop install as well, but Im not sure.
Rdesktop (I assume you mean the W2k terminal server viewer ) is in the Debian archives. You may install it by enabling the Debian sources in XN and then searching for Rdesktop, or by using apt-get or one if its frontends.
