|
|
Hi Guis & Commanders !
Our new homepage http://www.pcds.fi has been up and running
since January this year.
By nostalgic reasons, the Downloads section hosts the CD-Version
xandros-45OCE-kenux.iso and the Debian Lenny upgrades for it,
the xandros-45K2-servicepack.iso.
The Nvidia drivers compiled by Redrum and many packages we made
for Xandros Desktop 4.5 OCE and EeePC 1.6 & 1.7 are also found here.
Note: Installing the servicepack, enhances Xandros Desktop 4.5 compatibility
with some of the newer Debian-Ubuntu packages found in Downloads. _________________ Linux User #432929

thanks for putting the Xandros versions where we can try them again.
I have always purchased the Xandros versions as they came out right from the first to 4.5.

Wow; the Xandros forums is still here...
I've been running a customized Xubuntu 12.04 on my systems. I was never much of XFCE fan before, but XFCE 4.8 feels more functional than previous versions.
Some of the extra applications I add in are: ailurus, gdebi, gparted, mount manager, NTFS configuration tool, unetbootin, Gnome Disk Utility, VLC, LibreOffice, playonlinux, skype, and virtualbox I purge pulseaudio out and install good old dependable alsa. I also reconfigure the XFCE panels to look more Gnome 2 like.
I'm doing pretty good these days. How have you guys been doing? _________________ Linux simply works for me...
