Hello,

How to do DHCP renewal from the command line as a non admin user? I see there is an applet which seems to invoke xandrosncs-agent upon clicking it. But the process is owned by the root. Is there a way to send some request so the interface gets its new IP address? (For instance, in Ubuntu/Fedora I can use NetworkManager APIs to accomplish that as a non-root user). Any help is appreciated. Thanks folks.

Best Regards,
Raj
