is there a sound editor for the 701SD Xandros linux other than audacity that doesnt require wine to work? if not then where do i download LAME for audacity _________________ It's Not The Way You Look That Brings Me To My Knees..........It's The Way You Look At Me!!!!! |

the link doesnt work. when i click on it nothing happens. can i install wine using synaptic? _________________ It's Not The Way You Look That Brings Me To My Knees..........It's The Way You Look At Me!!!!! |

Right click and "save as". I just tried it.
Then open Xandros networks and select "install deb file" from the drop down menu. Or if you go to an admin console Launch-applications-system-admin tools-file manager (administrator), you can install by going in the file manager to the folder where you saved the file, going to tools at the top, open console window and, in the console typing ' apt-get install <name of file> ' (no quotes).
I don't know synaptic, but that would work too if you know how to do it. _________________ War doesn't determine who's right - only who's left. |
