I am out of my element here. This is the question:

This is to access a file server from an offsite location via internet. If anyone knows what you do, please let me know and I'll pass it along. Any direction to other info also welcomed. Thx!

Open XFM and type smb://192.168.1.41 just replace with your IP. Works on my network. It may not work in a domain setting I haven't tried it. It will open a box and ask to authenticate if it needs a different ID/password.
