Hi folks.. Thanks for creating this great forum of info/helpful advice!

I am newbie Xandros user and unsure how to resolve a recent problem with 8 machine touch pad cursors....

Here are the details and hoping someone out there with more experience can help provide some resolution/troubleshooting options....

OS = Xandros Desktop 3.0.2 Business (build 2005-05-17)
Release 2.6.11-smp / KDE Version 3.3.0

Keyboard model: ACK-540
KB WEDGE Scanner Model: B374986

Everything was working fine one day and then overnight, we started having problems with the touch pad cursor stuttering/delayed cursor response.
- As this happened on all 8 machines, on the same day, I'm guessing there must have been an auto update (or possibly a problem with a recent auto update not completely installing) that is causing a conflict with touch pad functionality/hardware???

So far, I have;
*Restarted the systems = no change to problem
*Unplugged/Reconnected the PS2/USB connectors after waiting 5 seconds = no change to problem
*Attached a new USB scroll mouse = mouse cursor works perfectly using external mouse but still has the problem (cursor mouse stutters/delayed response) when trying to use the touch pad

Any one else having this same problem within the last few days??

Thx for help in advance..

Very interesting I didn't think they released any new patches recently.

If update/s caused this issue, then it most likely
was done from the wrong source/s.

Can you post your /etc/apt/sources.list for us?
