|I am out of my element here. This is the question:
|Does Linux have a method by which you can connect to
a file server via IP address? I know you can "browse" for servers, but that won't work over a VPN. Under WinXP it is done as follows:
Start->Search->Computers or People->A Computer on the Network->Computer Name
This is to access a file server from an offsite location via internet. If anyone knows what you do, please let me know and I'll pass it along. Any direction to other info also welcomed. Thx!
