Hi greatman and welcome to "Xandros" user forums!

First install "Kernel Headers" using "Xandros Networks", then download and install latest drivers:
http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86/169.12/NVIDIA-Linux-x86-169.12-pkg1.run
Instructions here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_ia32_169.12.html

That won't make you any friends around here. All the people here are just other Xandros users - not Xandros employees - and they help out others as they can, when they can, on a voluntary basis. I can assure you that "wtf man hurry up" isn't likely to make people want to help you.

Nope, I don't. But if you have a little patience, somebody else might.

Slowdown instead. Did you read and follow all instructions?

An easier path for an novice (?) would be to try the precompiled "Nvidia"
packages made by redrum (not the latest driver versions, but may work).

If you purchased a copy of Xandros, you're entitled to free Tech Support for a limited time (30 days, I think). I had a couple of minor problems after my install and they helped me out.

You can reach them via the link below:

http://support.xandros.com/support_terms.php

You can also ask for help by phone:

http://www.xandros.com/about/contact_phone.html

Chances are good that someone has seen the problem you're describing and can offer suggestions for a solution. Hope this helps ...

Havent tested the older drivers, compiled by redrum on "GeForce 8" series.
But the latest (NVIDIA-Linux-x86-169.12.pkg1.run) from "Nvidia" should work.

hANGED MY PC. CAN I USE ENVY on xandros

"Envy" is written for "Ubuntu". Works on "Debian Etch", even if there are issues.
But, "Envy" is just a tool. Both "ATI" and "Nvidia" drivers have an GUI integrated.
To install these drivers, either "kernel source" or "kernel headers" have to be
installed getting it to work.

However "Xandros 4.2" (2.6.18 kernel) is based on "Debian Sarge". Would
recommend the new "4.5-OC" version (2.6.24 kernel) based on "Etch" instead.
To which redrum have compiled drivers ready for install. Download it here:
http://www.geekconnection.org/xandros_4.5/SDK-2008.03.03_06.30-4.5-oc-i386_cdr.iso
Or here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=215613
Download: EeePC-SDK-2008.04.24_19.46.iso (seems to be an newer release).

Discussions about the new version here:

http://forums.xandros.com/viewtopic.php?t=33670
http://forums.xandros.com/viewtopic.php?t=33706

And usable repositories here (scroll down a little):
http://forums.xandros.com/viewtopic.php?t=30583

Incredible enough, "Xandros" doesnt mention it on their homesite...

No. In "Windows" there is only one method to install drivers.
While "Linux" have two. Anyhow, the latest "Nvidia" are already
integrated in "4.5" version!
