I am trying to install Gentube on my laptop which uses X4. I have followed the directions. I have checkked and am sure that I have all the dependencies and am thankful for the help of Chris Bryant http://forums.xandros.com/viewtopic.php?t=34189&highlight=gentube

However, it is not working. I figured that maybe the file was corrupt, so I downloaded it again, and tried to install. Here's the result:

e:/home/dad/GenTube# sh ./installgentube.sh
kbuildsycoca running...
./installgentube.sh: line 49: ((: english
KWrited - Listening on Device /dev/pts/2==1: syntax error in expres sion (error token is "KWrited - Listening on Device /dev/pts/2==1")
cp: copying multiple files, but last argument `/root/GenTube/script /lenguaje' is not a directory
Try `cp --help' for more information.
./installgentube.sh: line 76: /root/Desktop/gentube.desktop: No suc h file or directory
./installgentube.sh: line 80: /root/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servi cemenus/Gentube.desktop: No such file or directory

I was able to install it with no problems but I did it as a regular user not root. Also make sure you have the requirements that are listed in the readme.
