Hi,

i'm in a terrible situation a brought an eeepc with xandros on it. and a usb modem ( lg working on EVDO). i tried to follow some instructions over the internet but i discoverd that the usb serial fonction doesn't existe in the xandros eeepc and than later that the "make" fonction either.

is there anything simple to use? i really don't want to go back to windows?

Hi anomoney Welcome to the Xandros Forums!

Have you tried flashing your BIOS?
Flashing the BIOS solves many USB problems, so I recommend you to try that out Wink

anomoney, is "EVDO" an 3G modem? If so, doesnt the "GSM/3G (UMTS)/HSDPA" option
located at: "Launch" > "Control Center" > "Network Connections" > "Create" work for you?
its at least included in the "Desktop" version.
