Hi,
Welcome to Xandros Forums!!!!!!!!!!! 
As per my knowledge, Scalix dont have its own Anti SPAM or Anti Virus you need to use Third Party Applications.

After searching on net got some stuff which you can read:
Plug-in approach to virus protection: instead of developing its own system, you plug in third-party applications. Since virus scans occur inside the Scalix server, you're also guarded against in-house virus outbreaks.
Scalix itself allows you to configure SpamAssassin to run within the Scalix server, and you can set up your own anti-spam system outside of Scalix on another server.

Well,
I tried to install Xandros Server 2.0 server trial.
However I did it using VMWare.... Although I could install it successfully I wasn't capable of accessing the VirtualPC from the rest of the computers in my LAN.
Recently also noticed the same with the Xandros desktop trial. So I starting to think that the issue may be related..
