In Xandros Pro edition, how do we automatically update Mozilla Firefox?

If you need help I'll do what I can. This works really well though.

I much appreciate the info.

Xandros recommends CrossOver.

This was on the Mozilla website:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/system-requirements.html

https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Installing+Firefox+on+Linux

Please note that Linux distributors may provide packages for your distribution which have different requirements.

* Firefox will not run at all without the following libraries or packages:
o GTK+ 2.10 or higher
o GLib 2.12 or higher
o Pango 1.14 or higher
o X.Org 1.0 or higher
* For optimal functionality, we recommend the following libraries or packages:
o NetworkManager 0.7 or higher
o DBus 1.0 or higher
o HAL 0.5.8 or higher
o GNOME 2.16 or higher

Using the above instructions I run Firefox 3.5.8 on Xandros 4 with no issues. I have had 3.6 running but many of my extensions hadn't been ported and I noticed some weird java issues ( the java issues were on all distros not just Xandros ) that made me roll back to 3.5. It works pretty well and is consistent I have done this on fresh installs and well established boxes.

I just have to wonder... does Xandros Networks have any intention to upgrade the Firefox browser in the near future?

Xandros is pretty much out of the desktop Linux business. My guess would be that they have no intention to upgrade it ever.
