|
|
I am new to Linux and trying to ensure that I don't have to go back to XP.
I am finding a few issues though that are weakening my defenses . I am using Xandros on my new Asus eee PC. To over come my problems I bought an External DVD drive yesterday. I now have a new problem in that Xandros does not seem to pick up the new drive. The drive is:
Nu ESW 860 Supermulti drive DVD
This is an ultra slim DVD which is recognized by my XP laptop.
Any help welcome. XP is looking more and more attractive even though I don't want it .
Thanks. |

I don't know how it's about this model Nu ESW 860 Supermulti drive DVD. At least my "Samsung" external DVD-ROM is working correctly on my "Eee".
Have you tried searching around on google for results or visit
www.eeeuser.com and the forums there, there are some more expertise about "Eee PC's" there.
Regards Harald. |
