Since my LT Winmodem can only download verrryyyy sllllloooowwwllly, is there a method of downloading in WinXp and copying to Xandros to install?

I tried that with one "gotta" have file - DOSemu which I got from debian.org. Wouldn't work using Xandros Update. Any thoughts or alternative methods that would work?

Sure you can. If you are dual booting the machine with XP and Xandros, save the file to the Window$ partition then go into Xandros and run the file from inside XFM. Or, burn it to a CD and do the install from there.
