Go to Xandros Networks and install Ogle and Ogle-MMX, close Xandros Networks.

Go to http://www.dtek.chalmers.se/groups/dvd/deb/ and download the file labeled:
libdvdcss0_0.0.3.ogle3-1_i386.deb to your home directory.

Go to Launch---Applications----Accessories---System---Administrator Tools and open Xandros Update.

Click on File and then Install DEB file.

Go to where you saved the above entioned file and select it to install.

To play the DVD:

Insert your DVD into your DVD player.

Click on Launch---Applications---Viewers---Ogle.

Click on File---Open Disk.

The path to the admin tools is wrong above.

Try: Launch---Applications----System---Administrator Tools and open Xandros Update.

Hi I am interested in trying your solution for DVD as posted in this forum. I am new to Xandros / Linux and ask if you (anybody) can help.

I followed the instruction below but could not seem to locate the Ogle and Ogle-MMX files mentioned. Where do I find them on the Xandros Networks?

I found the other driver. However I neededto be logged in as administratore in order to save. Saved to /root. ( is this ok?)

Your instruction read:
Go to Xandros Networks and install Ogle and Ogle-MMX, close Xandros Networks.

Use Xandros Update and look in the "graphics" category - select ogle-gui and ogle-mmx and install them.

I usually save downloaded deb files to /tmp - less chance of messing things up that way. Install the libdvdcss deb package using Xandros Update's install DEB file option, from the file menu.

I'm a bit confused as to what you are trying to describe. Crossover may be coming up because theres a Windows app on the DVD. Just let it run through and cancel whatever is trying to install in Crossover. You may have to use the "Reset Crossover Office" function to get it to finally quit if Crossover becomes confused by whatever is trying to install or load.
At that point try running your Men in Black disc with Ogle. What does it do then?
I have so far only experienced one DVD that didn't act quite right and that was Spiderman. For some reason I could get no sound with it, video was fine. The movie companies may be experimenting with new ways to hose us Linux users from watching our DVDs in the platform of our choice. Do you experience anything with other DVDs that is like what you are seeing with Men in Black? Have you tried watching the DVD using Mplayer?
