Hi:

It looks like Xandros took down our private forum. Too bad. I always felt special because not everyone could access the site. My mother still thinks I'm 'special' so I suppose its not a total loss.

Anyway if any of you Beta testers want to make comments or questions this is a topic you can use.

cheers
Bryce

Thanks for setting this thread up Bryce, I kind of felt left out in the cold with no warning.

I was wondering if anyone who reported bugs has recieved any notices yet? I'd be nice to get our hands on a final edition at a [much] reduced price Wink.

I was also wondering about the 3D effects in the final, they don't work on my current system but work fine with Zod on the other partition of my Inspiron 6000 ati mobility 300 128MB.

Cheers,
Neil

Nothing here. But waiting. There is upgrade pricing for Professional version, which is 1/2 price. However, that pricing is for anyone.

Hi:

Yeah. I submitted quite a few bugs and am hoping to get a 'freebe'. I'm also hoping they got Versora to work with this edition. With Beta and RC1 I had no success.

Hopefully one of the moderators will dig up some information for us.

cheers
Bryce

I thought it was me at first also...

They should have warned us!

I was hoping they'd leave it up for us to keep working on some of the issues.

*sigh* Oh well, I guess this means we won't be invited back for server...?

I just wish they would have communicated a bit more than just making it all go away. Sad

Hi:

Test the server? Man......... I bet I could bring down Sympatico's whole network right throughout Canada if I set that up right! Wouldn't be too popular with the phone company would I?

cheers

Its nice to have a home again. Sure was hard on my self esteem to be booted out of my beta home without notice.
I hope everyone else is managing to find other betas to torture.

The Whole forums server was moved.
Not exactly sure what happened to the Beta forums but I can ask Matty.

That was rather suddenly, but I received a reply from Matty about this on Monday! I'm sure he won't mind me passing this on to you guys:

Hi:

Thanks Kevin. We are all sort of wandering around aimlessly right now.
Thanks Mike, for the info. Will wait and see what happens.

cheers

It's good to hear some kind of response about it, as it was very abrupt...

I'm already itching for the next beta test! Cool

The email from Xandros are out, I am smiling if that tells you anything.
Hope we get a Beta home soon.

Yep, Christmas came a little early.

It'd be nice to get the beta forum back for reference.
