|
|
hi!
I have done a full install of XD.
I would like to install Evolution 1.2
In Xandros Update, if I do a search it reports that I HAVE
Ximian 1.0 installed..with 0 bytes!
I cannot REMOVE it; doesn't go away
Whatshould I do to install Evolution 1.2 from the Xandros site?
I have just "arrived" from Windows XP, so I know at his stage
nothing about installing Linux, neither from Xandros (or even more so from other
sources)
Could anyone help? or point me to a newbie help page?
thanks!

I think it's in Xandros Networks. (icon is on the desktop)
I would confirm that for you, but as you can see by the post below, I broke mine.
If I remember correctly, it's listed in the "Available Software" branch of the tree. Just click "Install" and it should go from there. |

Soeren,
I show the same thing...evolution 1.0 seems to be installed at 0bytes. But there is no way to start it.
But the 1.2 upgrade should show up under "available software" as Rancoras says.
