i have been customizing my asus eee pc, and would like to install a .bin application (zyzzyva bin app)
So far I cannot find how , and apt-get install xxxxxx.bin doesnt find the app
can someonehelp with what i have to do

I don't have an EeePC so I don't really know much about them. But I've installed a couple of .bin files on Xandros 4. Here's what I do:

Open Xandros File Manager and navigate to wherever you have saved the file. Right click on it, click Properties, Permissions, and check the Exec box for Owner. The file is now executable. You might be able to just double click on it in the File Manager and have it run now, or you might have to do it from console. To do it from console, open a console (in X4, click Launch, Applications, System, Console), then navigate in console (using the cd command) to wherever you have saved the file. Then type:

./ <filename>

where <filename> is the full name of the bin file. The .bin file should run. You might have to experiment around with that, or change a thing or two if the EeePC doesn't have XFM, but that's basically what you have to do.

from the help I managed to install zyzzyva onto the asus eeepc, and into the folders
I now have to figure out how to execute it
