I've been listening to this http://www.concertzender.nl/, the one called "oude muziek". I also recommend this: while my guitar gently weeps on a ukelele, which is outstandingly good in my opinion.

I've been mostly listening to the stuff I grew up with for some time, but have recently decided I need to expand my musical horizons a bit. I like Death Cab for Cutie, the Weepies, Elbow, and others.

Shocked Band names can be amusing! We have a local band here called The Intensely Vigorous College Nine, and I think there are 5 of them. There's another called Grampa's Magic Pinecones. I have one of my kids who got into country over the last couple of years. I actually like most kinds of music except for angry excessive bass rap.

When I have music playing, it all gets Scrobbled to Last.fm Wink You can track what I've been listening to from my profile page there; user is Somnambulist7.

Though with that said, I've recently got back into KMFDM (latest album rocks!) and Stream of Passion. Also had a big trance / electronic revival too so been listening to Mirror System, Marbury, Vibrasphere, Kosheen and others Smile

Sounds good- though you might be listening to John Cage's 4'33'

Though I live and work on a state highway, and in a couple of days it will be Dayton Bike Weeks- 500,000 motorcycles.
At one point they have a charity ride, it's been up to 5,000 bikers going past our place- about 30 minutes of non stop roar.
It puts us in edge (me, wife and cats).

I'm listening to Venice Classic Radio on a wireless internet radio in the kitchen. Have been for about a month. Also listening to Radio Netherlands in English at night when I can't sleep. Very good documentary shows. They also read books over the air.
