hi all,

i recently successfully installed a xandros server, updated and patched, and well integrated on the network. it runs on a decent pc, quad processor, 4gb of ram, a 200gb hd for the os, an 80gb hd for swap and a 400gb hd for userdata and shared data (sata hds). it only serves as file and pdc server for about 40 windows desktops.

all works fine except it requires a reboot almost every morning, i notice and realise that a reboot is necessary everytime the mouse on the desktop console goes funny, very slow... at the user end, users cannot access files anymore and connections to the server are unavailable.

this new server has replaced a xandros desktop version running on a very old pc that worked for years beautifully.

i did monitor performance and memory behaviours and noticed that memory usage is sometime very high and i see no visible animation activity on the 80gb swap file utilisation.

any suggestion? anything i should pay attention to?
