I am running Xandros 4 and when I put a music CD in the drive, it starts Amarok/Media Manager. I should know this, but I can't seem to figure it out: How do I make the computer do nothing when an audio CD is put in the drive? How do I make Music Manager not open anymore?

Hi Jim. I remember this bugging me too.

Step 1: Change control centre-file manager-associations, change .wav and .mp3 etc to move music manager down the list.

Step 2: go to /etc/autorun/autorun.conf. It will look like this:
Code:
/dev/sr0
{
   type = "cdrom";
   cd-audio = "/usr/bin/amarok", --cdplay, $d;
   cd-data = "/usr/bin/XandrosFileManager.autorun", DVD-RW;
   cd-mixed = "/usr/bin/XandrosFileManager.autorun", DVD-RW;
   mount-options = "ro,sync,nosuid,nodev,check=relaxed,unhide";
   autorun-loki = yes;
   autorun-audio = yes;
   autorun-data = yes;
   autorun-mixed = yes;
   autorun-wine = yes;
   wine-office-script = "/opt/cxoffice/bin/officesetup", "--autorun", $m;
   wine-script = "/opt/cxoffice/bin/officesetup", "--autorun", $m;
};

Replace autorun-audio = yes with autorun-audio = no or comment out cd-audio = "/usr/bin/amarok", --cdplay, $d; with a # .

Not sure, but restart maybe required to take effect.

Thanks. I knew that, I know I have told others how to do that. But I just couldn't quite bring it to the surface when I needed to do it!

Stinks getting old don't it. The worst part is once you hit a certain number of posts it makes finding the advice you gave others impossible to find.
