When I opened Xandros Networks, it stays on the Progress Update window forever. It gets stuck on one of the repositories. How do I get past this? I know that there is a text file somewhere on the system that lists the repositories, but I do not know where.
Also, when it opened the first time, it said I had to install Service Pack 2.
I closed the Progress Update window but nothing works, because that never finished.
But after rebooting the PC and running Xandros Networks again, the Progress Update window is still there but no mention now of Service Pack 2.
So how do I fix this, to remove problematic repositories and get Service Pack 2 installed (or if it is installed, how do I check for it)?

Do this:
Open a root (Administrator) console by clicking Launch, Applications, System, Administrator Tools, Console (Administrator) and entering the password when it asks for it. Then enter the following commands:

Code:
rm /usr/share/xandros-networks/xandros-networks-pkgdata.xml

apt-get update

/etc/init.d/xandros-dvmonitor restart

You should be good to go.

Sorry it was not Service Pack 2, it said "Step 2: Service Pack Required, Xandros Desktop Service Pack 1 has been released..."
even though I installed service 1 ages ago.

You can install this "dummy package" if the system reports SP1 is not installed to get it to realize it actually is;
http://support.xandros.com/downloads/desktop_4.0/experimental/xandros4.0-servicepak-1.0_1.0.1-100_i386.deb
I thought this dummy package was not longer needed, but I guess yuo need it. Save somewhere and it is installable via XN.
