Hi pals, recently I have lost my piece of mind. Just yesterday, when I am trying to set up Red Hat Linux removing my existing windows version, a strange matter is happening. After advancing through the initial steps, when it came to the option of hard disk partition, suddenly one partition was missing . I restarted the entire process but the same thing is occurring again and again. Any help regarding the same will be appreciated. _________________ free laptop computers |

Hi and Welcome..
While we are happy to help you with any LINUX questons we really don't get to see the Anaconda redhat installer in action.. and we are out of our depth.
There are a few fedora users here and there but not many and I used RedHat in 99 so I know of their installer but can't recall it's steps.
I would bring this question to Fedora forums. While you might get an answer here they have a more RedHat installation expertise.. _________________

If you like RedHat products, you might consider Fedora. I had easy installs with 3 and 4. Core 5 gave me video card headaches. They have probably fixed this in the newer versions. It's a well supported distro that tends to be very quick. _________________ --- started with UNIX (before that Redmond OS ) and now have gone full circle back to Linux |
