Hi, I am new to Linux. I have tried several different versions and my biggest problem is internet connection!! If I can get an internet connection, I am almost 100% certain that I do not need Bill Gates anymore!!
I need help!! I have a 'Belkin F5D7000-w PCI card. It works great in XP, but I can not get it to work in a Linux enviroment!!
Can someone give me some help!!!!

I have to admit I know practically nothing about getting wireless cards to work in Xandros. However, I did a little forums searching, and a little Googling, and found that that wireless card uses the BCM4306 chipset, which can be made to work in Xandros. Apparently, the way to do it is to use ndiswrapper, which allows you to load the windoze driver in Xandros. See these pages:

Also, here's a couple of pages telling how they got it to work on some other Linux distros:

Perhaps if those links aren't enough for you to get it working, someone with more experience with wireless can pop in and clarify it. I think if you do the ndiswrapper thing in Control Center, you'll be in business.
