I purchased this QuickCam today, As in reading--- Xandros " Hardware compatiblity list" XN4.1 supports this product.
Now, this is the Question
- <how>-
I am a Newbee with only little knowledge of xandros ( execpt that its my first choice!) Bu**er Gates Sh*T, that never works!!
Any help IS most welcomed - PLEASE-

You didn't mention what you tried.........

Did you..
Install the app Camstream from XandrosNetworks?
Then once installed choose the CIF camera setting in Camstream..

This should work pretty generically.

Creating video4linux (/dev/video*) special files...
.udevdb or .udev presence implies active udev. Aborting MAKEDEV invocation.
Done.------

Start Camstream
Is it installed under Graphics or Multimedia menu?

If not open a console and type Camstream..

to add to menu
Right click LAUNCH and choose edit menu..simple to follow look at a menu example to follow.
