I just tried to go to archlug, and I cannot get there.
Can anyone else get there? _________________ geekydude

I have everything from archlug in my reposiitory now...
But I'm concerned about the timing of Archlug going down right after Mike80808 supposedly fixed it.
Not sure what to think of it. _________________ geekydude

Just tried the links I posted & no problem.
Try this number instead:
209.16.204.19
If it works your ISP's DNS server may be having problems, or (slaps head ) you didn't catch the bit a few weeks ago about setting up your hosts file with that IP address .
The Archlug domain name expired & the site was down for a while, the DNS severs should have picked it up by now, but Mike suggested setting up your hosts file to point to the numerical IP address & I did so probably why it works here.
I'll try to find the info for you...

Feel free to put the ArchLUG IP address in your /etc/hosts (it's a static IP) and you will never have this issue again.

I just tried both the links in Dave's prior post, and both loaded fine. I do not have thenumerical IP address in my hosts file, so I must assume both sites are up now. It's about 12:20 a.m. Arizona time. Ben _________________

Well seems like over a period ranging from 8:47 PDT to 11:30 PDT Geekydude & david wrigley could not connect & papabearak & I can.
I know for a fact I set up my hosts file for archlug, so all I can suggest is to try the numerical IP address & let us know what happens.

Both sites still load just fine for me. Perhaps a sever failure in your geographic region geeky. It definitely is not global. Ben _________________

Maybe we need to move our computers outside as PapaBear?
He seems to be the only one who have the right connections ...

Yep, maybe setting my system up on a rock keeps it well grounded.
