i just installed a Lexmark Z22 printer with the printer wizard it found the printer and used foomatic driver lexmark 3200 tweaked but it wont print what can i do?

Well, it might be as simple as turning the printer off and back on again. Apparently, the driver is somewhat squirrelly with this printer. Read the pages linked to below.

Lexmark has been off-and-on in their support for Linux. I've decided to stick to HP printers, as they are well supported in Linux.

I just installed Xandros Desktop V4 on one of my computers, and also tried to set up a lexmark Z22 printer. I found two problems:
1. The machine will not talk to the printer through the Parallell Port. I tried two different printers connected to the parallell port, with negative results for both.... no printing.

2. After re-installing the Lexmark Z22 using the USB port, I was able to print a test page, but each time I print to it, it gives me a fault of some sort at the end of each page. I can only reset the fault by taking the printer off line, and then back online again.

As a bit of a test, I tried installing the printer on one of my Windows 2000 machines, connecting it to the parallell port, and sharing it. After installing it on the Xandros machine again as a network printer, and printing a test page, I got the same page fault as when it was installed on the Xandros machine directly.

I seem to remember having this problem back when I was using Xandros Desktop, Version 3.xx so I just assumed it was something wrong with the driver.
