Hi Gize
I see a few people with problems similar to mine, but I can't see the same problem mentioned.
I have and nVIDIA GF 5200 card. I also have an LG Studioworks 910B monitor and I'm running X4.1 Home Ed Prem with all updates applied. The monitor is capable of displaying at 2048 x 1536 but this resolution is useless for my aging eyes. I want 1280 x 1024. The problem is that evry time I boot form cold the resolution has been reset to 2048 x 1536. Warm re-boots and just logging out and back in again are no problem - only doing a cold boot.
Can someone point me to the solution to this problem please?
Thanx

I'm having trouble finding your monitor online. but if it is an LCD monitor they work best at their native resolution. Trying to run an LCD at a non-native resolution produces less that ideal results.
