Everything looks pretty good.. Since in X3 one cannot directly edit the xorg.conf file, I'd recommend using the program nvidia-settings to see if you can change anything that way.. If it isn't installed, you can get it from XN.. then type nvidia-settings to run it.

Well did that , ran nvidia settings but it is still the same, no way to change it from there.: I am definately at a loss. ( Might have to try Freespire, see if it fares any better.) Maybe I'll try Xandros 4 oce when it comes out.Thanks for all your help redrum, I do really appreciate it.

Well after all that , I decided to reinstall the 3.0.2 and woila! Everything works now. Was scared of losing files, but xandros saved my old home folder , so mostly everything was still there.
