Is there a certain program i can use or when i insert the disc does it just auto-load like it does with windows.
(PS I'm not install Xandros until i know i can Run Guild Wars and some other .exe's like Adobe Photoshop CS 2,Fire Works,mIRC,Win Amp,Etc
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is unlikely you'll get that whole list of programs to run in linux, so if you want to run Xandros or any other flavor of Linux you'll have to be willing to give up some of those apps / games. Transgaming (http://www.transgaming.com) sells a proprietary version of wine that will run some games on Linux... Codeweavers (http://www.codeweavers.com)is a commercial version of wine that can run certain apps better than Cedega, but also costs money... All told you'll have more money in it than you would just sticking to Windows. Win4Lin lets you run Windows in a 'Virtual Machine" but I don't think 3d is supported.
Bottom line: If you want / need all those applications to work, either dual boot (run both Windows and Linux on a partitioned drive), or wait until native versions are available for Linux, or until most of those can be run using Cedega or Crossover... This may be decades to never, depending on the application.
Hope this helps. _________________

You may need the latest version of Cedega to get Guild Wars to run.. I think they still have a trial version somewhere on their site. If it does, its 15 bucks for a 3 month subscription... You can keep using it afterwards though.
Hope this helps. _________________

Some of those apps will run in Crossover/WINE. See the compatibility list here:
http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/rank/
There are Linux equivalents for just about anything you'd run in windoze. Instead of Photoshop, use Gimp, or there's a special version of Gimp with the interface tweaked to look like Photoshop called GimpShop. There must be a zillion IRC clients for Linux. Instead of WinAmp, use XMMS, Amarok, or any one of several others.

(I Want to use winamp because i have a complete custom interface that i made for it )
But Gimp is what my friend told me about already.
I Paid like $1200.00 in total for all my adobe photoshop stuff and i don't want that to go to waste
And Cedega is also known as WineX _________________ Xandros User + Windows Vista User |

If you can't get winamp to run in Crossover/WINE, I think xmms will use winamp skins.

Fireworks MX will run under Crossover Office with a few issues which are namely appearing / disappearing panels and other graphical glitches. The main program runs though - all but slowly. All later versions i.e. 2004+ have issues with running from the licencing system that Macromedia adopted for the MX 2004 release. Apparently you can get them to run... if you go round the houses and it's not guaranteed.
Not sure about Guild Wars. My experience with Cedega has not been good. I was subscribed for a while but the only game I could run reliably was Max Payne 2. None of the "supported" games would run e.g. Half-Life 2, KOTOR 1 etc. I blame this on my ATi hardware. Cedega really only runs well with nVidia hardware, and you should really use a 5900GT at least, if not a 6 series minimum, and not one of the budget cards either, it really needs a mid to high end graphics card.
For MP3 playback you should really use amaroK it's much better than WinAMP, however if you are hell-bent on running it you can run WinAMP 5 with some success under Crossover Office.
