Not really sure what I am doing but:
I would like to set up my own server and have installed XMC and Apache using Xn networks.
XMC says "error trying to contact primary server" when I put my Admin name and password in.
And when I put http//:localhost in to my browser I get a page with:
Index of /
Name Last modified Size Description
[DIR] Parent Directory 04-Nov-2006 08:52 -
[DIR] htdig/ 04-Nov-2006 03:40 -
[TXT] search.html 04-Nov-2006 03:46 1k
Apache/1.3.33 Server at localhost Port 80
Also when Xn networks installed Apache I got a warning saying something like.
The name of yr puter (which is the XN name Xannogh-etc)is not a valid name change it in
...........main.cf.If I could work out how to do that, will it affect any other areas
like my home network where they are set up with that name for my box.
What should I do ? _________________ Xandros 4.0 is the best thing in evolution since Eve. |

xMC is only usable with a Xandros Server 1.0.
If you install xMC on your desktop and are trying to use it to manage Apache on it it will not work. _________________ Kevin MacPherson
