| This morning when I booted into Xandros 4, I noticed that I no longer had an internet connection, so I made several attempts to reconnect, and even went so far as to delete the connection and set up a new one, but my ethernet card would not connect. Thinking that the card may have gone bad, I booted into Windows XP and the card worked perfectly. I went ahead and bought a new card thinking that the other one mught be going bad and installed it. Once again no matter what I did in Xandros 4, I could not get an internet connection established, and again cheched the new card using Windows XP, and it worked perfectly. After several reboots and lots of aggravation, the card suddenly came to life in Xandros 4! Is this a known bug in Xandros 4? |

It does seem to me that someone else mentioned they had pretty much the same experience, but I don't think it's common.

| I hope it isn't common. I also noticed that I had no sound, but running alsaconf got the sound back easily enough. |
