I cannot get my SB Audigy 2 to work either. It seems I have to same problem. Gotta have music for late night study.

All those tips were sure great... The good news is that I got my card to function proper with 5.1. But the bad news is I don't know why. All I did was reinstall xandros (no differently than I had before) and it worked.
