There have been a number of spam posts on the Forums recently. If you should spot one, please post a link to it here to let the moderators know about it. (Your post in this thread may be deleted by the moderators after the spam has been removed, just to keep it from getting too crowded here!)

For the moment, suspicious accounts are left alone unless they actually post something. At one time, 80 percent of the most recent several thousand new member registrations had names like "cheapmeds" or email addresses like "cheapmeds@drugs.ru". Matty decided to leave them alone, and as you've probably noticed, most of them didn't actually post anything. So, current policy is not to delete users until they actually post spam. But once they post, they're history!
